What Zedboard Do You Prefer Working With and Why?

 

In the comments, please explain why you chose your preferred Zedboard?

  • I really like UltraZed for three reasons:

    1. It is Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC so you get all the benefits of that architecture.
    2. The form factor is incredibly versatile since you can prototype on it and then purchase those SOMs in production quantities to put into your end platform.
    3. You can scale across a number of device densities with the UltraZed-EG and UltraZed-EV families.

     

    Also, if you start with Ultra96, but need to migrate to a device with more resources, there is a great path through UltraZed SOMs.
