If you post in multiple places it makes it very difficult for people to follow the thread and answers can easily be missed.

Why not ask your supplier - do they have to supply boards with a difficult to remove film ?

I really wish people would take heed of this advice! It also puts people off answering when the see somebody spamming multiple forum sections with the same question.

I suspect the manufacturer of the boards will not guarantee their finish if they are shipped unprotected as the boards could be exposed to adverse environments or stored for a long period before being used.

    noted & tq Michael Kellett.

we planned  using robotic arm  remove this protective film.

this is the process in pcb where we need to laminate , expose & etching.

before etching we need to remove the mylar. then only we can do the etching process

we are using penknife to remove the mylar.

supplier only have the machine but the risk panel thickness.. the machine cannot handle the too thin panel.

so we come out with the idea to use robotic arm. the  thing is we need to find the concept.

examples : we studying to use the tape (we stick the tape onto the panel & peel  it off .so the protective  film need high adhesive 7 stickness.
