INFRARED THERMOMETER WITH THINGSPEAK, PART 3
In this publication, we will create an application to send an alert message to our Twitter account when the measured temperature is equal to or greater than 35 degrees Celsius.
THINGTWEET APP
STEP 1.- First, open the application menu and select ThingTweet.
STEP 2.- Click on Link Twitter Account.
STEP 3.- Authorize ThingTweet to access your account by clicking on Authorize app
STEP 4.- The system will notify you if the link to your twitter account was successful.
STEP 5.- Finally we verify the generated API Key.
REACT APP
STEP 1.- Open the application menu and select React.
STEP 2.- Click on New React.
STEP 3.- Fill out the form shown below and save.
TEST
The video below shows the successful test with my twitter account.
Below is a test image.
Below we see the device measuring the temperature of my hand.
Finally, below is the Thingtweet sent to my twitter account.
CONCLUSION
In this post we have successfully tested the free version of ThingSpeak on our Arduino NANO 33 IoT board;
To send an alert to our twitter account we have successfully used the ThingTweet and React Applications every time the threshold temperature has been reached.
CHALLENGES
There are still several things to do and this project you can continue with new challenges like the ones below:
Repeat the exercise done in Post 7, Post 8, and Post 9 but with the Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate sensor (Use the ThingSpeak server, as well as the ThingTweet and React Apps).
Repeat the entire project with the IoT service provider: Amazon Web Services
Repeat the entire project with the IoT service provider: Microsoft Azure IoT
