windows 10 and silicon labs dev boards

Question

im having issues connecting the dev boards to my pc I have recently upgraded to windows 10 (not the best idea in the middle of a project) has anybody else encountered this issue or have any suggestions?

on a side note im getting quite good at space invaders

Try installing the driver for Windows 8.1 - the 'updated' windows 10 driver that comes from M$ doesn't seem to be working https://www.silabs.com/products/interface/Pages/interface-software.aspx

I'm working in Linux, Ubuntu 14.04, right now. But I have Win10 VM. I'll crank it up, install SS and see what I can find out.
