If I won a Codebug, I would use the projects to get my two junior high boys more involved in embedded electronics.  I have found that their school severally lacks the hands-on learning they want and need.  The fun-shapped board is a plus compaired to the same boards they are use to me using.  The structure of the interactive projects would also make learning fun.

The CodeBug is all about education, fun and getting people started -- and that's exactly what we want to see it achieve. If you're happy to come back on here and show us some of the projects you're working on with your boys, I'd like to hook you up with a Bug image  It'd be great for other people in a similar position to see some ideas on how to get their kids interested in electronics, coding and making, too.

My address is updated, and I would love to post some projects using the CodeBug. My children will be excited to use visual programing instead of all the typing.

    Hello Matt,

unfortunately if you past the code view from the CodeBug site it is totally useless as no one (included you) can regenerate the original visual source. The best thing is that you eventually post an image of the emulator showing the display result and the link to the CodeBug page where the program is saved so anyone can Remix your source and enjoy.

Well that stinks, it I'd difficult for a parent to show off their kid.  I was impressed.

You can cut and paste the link to it.

If people like it, they can remix it and then use it, so you always retain your version.
