Hey Roger, NOT a lollypop stick, just a lollypop ! (I imagine the distributor workers obliged to suck lot of lollypops a day to produce the sticks ...) Enrico

The codebug is a lovely tool for encouraging children to learn to program. Cameras and GPS locators are beyond it's capacities at the moment.

Try getting  a Pi camera and a GPS module working with your Pi2, maybe you could make a project with that and convert it to a Pi A+ (smallest format of Pi).

You would also need some kind of mobile telephone dongle, to transmit the information from the GPS.

I am fairly new to the community and have been trying to learn as much as possible. I recently purchased a Raspberry Pi 2 and have been learning Python. As I am a father of a soon to be two year old daughter, I am interested in the educational aspects of the codebug, but more importantly I'd like to explore the safety and security applications.   I'm wondering if there is a way to connect to a small wearable camera, in the event (god forbid) something bad were to happen, the camera would capture pictures or possibly video that would be very useful. If a camera is not possible, then maybe a small GPS locator could be attached and I would be able to know were she was. Unfortunately,  the world we live in is not the safest and things can happen when we least expect it. When she is a bit older, I plan on teaching my daughter all about programming and hopefully sparking an interest in technology, the codebug would be a wonderful tool to get her started.

My son's school is not currently having an innovation programme but I would love to setup one, using the CodeBug. I am seriously considering getting some kits myself in order to start such a programme, as the school does not have the funds, but I am myself just a hobbyist, with a without a great income, so I need to save up for it.

A Simple lie detector can be implemented using codebug, as the legs are capable of sensing the electronic currents passing through the body

I would use this device to create lasting memories with my son.  We would go over the examples, then brainstorm some new ideas and when he was ready I would help him use this as the center piece of his 2016 science fair project.  I love to program and I would love to get my son involved in programming because it helped me a lot in high school and I think it would help him.

My address is updated, and I would love to post some projects using the CodeBug. My children will be excited to use visual programing instead of all the typing.

Something I'll be interested in doing is trying to generate a PAL/NTSC Video on one of the legs and displaying either a graphic or ASCII String terminal using this device. maybe even connecting a ps2 keyboard and making a 1970 style teletype video terminal.
