With the concerns about Nvidia owning ARM, this RiscV gives everyone alternatives.

It's neat that there will both a small RISC-V based SBC alternative along with the more powerful HiFive Unmatched mini-ITX desktop board in 2021 This is great news for Linux on RISC-V.
It's also interesting that they put a lot of machine learning peripherals into the Beagle-V, especially when it has two camera interfaces supporting 4K30FPS sensors. So I'm hopeful that it will be a good and more open alternative to the nVidia Jetson boards.
