Well, it's not a Beaglebone, Not really a Beagleboard. But beagleboard.org was involved in creating it

With the concerns about Nvidia owning ARM, this RiscV gives everyone alternatives.

I figured I'd hijack this threat to mention... I'm going to be getting hold of some of these boards this year and they're 'beta' boards - for those who're prepared to do some work with it, get to grips with the product early and they're interested in providing some support and development for a RISC based processor board.
We'll probably offer some of these up for a RoadTest but I'm interested in helping out to get this product off the ground a bit more, often there've been some teething issues with BeagleBone boards and their support and feedback for being in people's hands and those wishing they'd had one earlier so they could help out - at least I'd hope so.
If there're people who have the embedded hardware knowledge to get to grips with kit like this, and they're interested in working with it, and working with it early. Then I'd be interested in hearing from you. I'd likely do separate post about this as well but figured I'd gauge interest here first

Ping
I'd be interesting in getting a board and seeing what it can and cannot do. I've used a number of embedded devices and SBCs, boot loaders, Linux, device driver mods, networking, etc. I am interested in RISC-V and recently get one micro-controller RISC-v boards from Seeed. I hope this board makes it to market and gets some traction and a reasonable group of developers provided support before the end of the year.
