According to Walter Spermann in eagle.betatest (replying to the thread
"Possible routing bug"):

So hopefully Cadsoft have squashed this bug and the fix will be out soon.

Thanks Andrew,
I was about to quote Walter as well. The fix for this bug didn't make it
into this release but it will be in the next beta 6.1.1.

Oh. Maybe I was a bit hasty in thinking that my example worked then...
I was using the bend style 0 (I think - Mac OS STILL doesn't show the current bend state), and while I didn't click to finish it, it did appear to snap.
I'll re-verify this tonight then.

Ok, im testing the new version 6.1.0 right now.

I agree. I have tested 6.1.0 in Windows 7 x64 with the example project
you kindly posted earlier in this thread -
http://www.tribbeck.com/misc/Test5_11_0.zip
Steps to reproduce:
Load Example.brd
ROTATE =MR45 Q1
ROUTE
Click SV1 pad 1 to start routing*
Hover over Q1 pad 1
The end of the track being placed does not snap to the target pad.
Hit 'Esc' to cancel the current routing operation
Click SV1 pad 1 to try again
Hover over Q1 pad 1
Now the track snaps to the pin as it should.
There are various other situations where the routed track fails to snap
to the target pad, but the steps above seem to work consistently for me.

I'm a 25mil grid and Wire_Bend style '1' (horizontal-then-45-degree)

When trying to route im pulling a connection from one pad to another, at the other pad the connection just doesn't "snap". However when You press esc button and try to route once more TADA it connects like a charm. What gives? When you move a elemenet and try to connect it again the problem still remains... press ESC and you can connect with noproblems. Come on I started projects in v6 I can't go back to 5. FIX THIS please.
That's a shame. I only tried it on my example that I provided earlier, and it worked (I had to get up early today, so didn't have any time to play).
It's possible that they've only used my example and not actually used it after fixing that example.
I'll have more time over the weekend to give it a more thorough test. And if it's not working, I'll come up with another example.

Sorry for not writing about about OS that I use. The broblem I think is platform and OS independent. I notised that the same problem occurs On Windows XP SP3, Windows 7 32bit Vista 64bit.
I haven't tested the version 6.1 yet hope it works better (fingers crossed).
Hi Chuck,
By default, you should receive email notifications for any discussion thread that you have posted in. On this page, there is a Actions widget near the top on the right hand side where you can disable email notifications for this thread. Additionally, you can view all your email notifications and disable as desired by clicking 'Manage email notifications' in the Actions widget on your profile page.
There had been an issue with delivery of email from element14 that impacted some users. This issue was resolved recently, and, thus, you may now be receiving notifications that you had not previously.
Cheers,
Drew
Why am I suddenly receiving email copies of posts?
