I've literally just spotted that - and worked out how to get it working (was about to post a new message!)
Basically, if you move a component, then the manual routing for that component gets difficult - it doesn't snap the wire to the pad centre.
What you need to do is click on the "Ratsnest" icon - this resets the ends of the air wires.
Or, you can abort your manual route half-way through, and then restart it from where you left off.
I'm beginning to think that V6.0.0 is a bit of a step backwards - and certainly doesn't seem to warrant a major version number upgrade.
ok, ill try, connecting two traces now is really hard, it wont snap to that
i do all my boards manually... and its really hard, id go back to 5.11
but i made a new part, and 5.11 dont like the part.... cause its xml now...
id think somthing simple as manual routing would be fully tested in 6...
it didnt take me but 5 seconds to know its not right

I made a backup zip file of all my version 5 designs before even starting
version 6. If I want to go back, I can extract the necessary files and
restore them. No worries that something might get over-written or 'updated'
to xml.
