Problem Placed a Order but no confirmation info

According to Element 14's FAQ at http://www.element14.com/community/docs/DOC-43262/l/updated-28-may-frequently-asked-questions-about-raspberry-pi :-->

• Q. How can I tell if I’ve ordered?
• A. You will have received an email acknowledging your order. If you have an order reference number or ORP number, you are in the queue to receive a Raspberry Pi.

Assuming that it's working as advised in the FAQ, it would appear that your order hasn't gone through.  However (and it's a big however), it may not be working that way reliably, or there could be a delay.  Also, it's possible that the confirmation email ended up in your spam folder.  It's really hard to say.

Perhaps an Element 14 representative could confirm.

It's really unfortunate that we are not given Farnell accounts on export.farnell.com so that we can check for ourselves.

Anyone knows how can I conctact an Element 14 representative?

I need a confirmation if the order is or isn't confirm...

Same happened with me back in May. Placed my order for the PI, never received a confirmation. However, I did get an email last week saying my PI will be shipped next week, so the order is in there somewhere.

Ordered mine yesterday/July 4th and have confirmation emails. The RPi estimated ship date for me is 11/05/2012 ahh well .. Still looking forward to getting my hands on them.

Yeah, the experience through export.farnell.com seems a bit crap. Ordered one that way on Tuesday, only thing you get is a "Thanks for your order, here's your ORPxxx". No clue what you ordered, when to expect delivery or anything.

At least here is the UK it was possible to go for the 'buy as a business' option on the invite page and either register an account on the spot or use your existing one. The scary you'll need a VAT number warning didn't apply (may do in other countries though) and you got the more normal order confirmation emails with estimated delivery, 'stock is now allocated to your order' type stuff.

I have one ordered through RS as well, all within a day or so of each other. Will be interesting to see which one appears first.

Anyone from support team can answer me please...

Valter, it might help if you posted which E-14 site you are ordering from, as each site seems to have a slightly different way of doing things.

I got same kind situation.

Got register your intrest mail, and mail: Order now link. Witch i used.

I dont have the orp number or reference number, but got emails about raspi shipping and email that says your raspi will be shipped commencing week 02.07.12

Contacted Farnell uk, but they cannot do anything without order number.

Havent received raspi or update info.

How this could be resolved?
