I know, I am not very modest, but I have enjoyed myself a lot with the Raspberry Pi Slow Scan Television (SSTV) Camera .

Huh, neat, how much effort would it take to incorporate local sensors attached to the Pi in that dashboard?

I don’t know if it qualifies for the gold, but here’s a Pi Blog I posted previously.  It’s a Pi Weather dashboard.

I found the NOAA Weather Satellite + Raspberry Pi + SDR experiments by airbornesurfer really interesting. It was this article that I was thinking about when I recently bought my own cheap SDR USB dongle: How To Set Up a Raspberry Pi as a NOAA Satellite Receiver with RTL-SDR I still need to make the antenna but hopefully I'll find some time later in the year to try this out. How cool must it be to download data from something so far away !

For anyone interested in SDR, I found them really easy to set up and here are my initial thoughts,Software Defined Radio (SDR) - My First Design

The Smart Range Hood - Final project and one stretch goal - Pi Chef Challenge Blog Post #12  was a great project and the build was detailed with a lot of good stuff.

A project less mentioned is using the Raspberry Pi with Pi Hole- https://pi-hole.net/

Very useful for homes with kids growing up in the digital age.

    Cheers all.

There are a lot of great projects for Pi on here along with information and tutorials.

It is tough to decide on one favourite project but in the end I chose the thermal imaging project by shabaz

Building a Thermal Imaging System with the Raspberry Pi 3, Sense HAT and Panasonic Grid-EYE

    Kind regards

My favourite is still James O'Gorman's smart range hood. The design and capabilities built into that are something that easily outperforms what's available on the market today!

And I love that that Summon Husband button!!  I think I might need to build one into some big button in the house somewhere image

edit, forgot to link to the project: Smart Range Hood - Final project and one stretch goal - Pi Chef Challenge Blog Post #12

And mad props, and tipping of tiny hats, to aspork42
