FPGA tutorials for beginners and  not only:)

Hello:)

 

I am Anton.About 3 years ago I discovered the world of embedded programming.

First it was simple Arduino, but  after few  month I realized, that Arduino is too weak for my ambitions:D

I grabed  DE1 FPGA from  Terasic board, and was very impressed of what can you do with an FPGA:)

 

Time goes by, and now I want to share my experience and help other  beginners to join the FPGA world.

From time to time(depending on my success) I am producing interesting and detailed FPGA tutorials(not as full time job, but more like hobby).

  • I'm sure you have put a lot of work into this but it is such a shame that you are only sharing it in the form of videos.

    Video is fine for short demonstrations of some special activities (like soldering) but very poor for describing complex material such as you are doing.

    Why:

    because video can't be skimmed or speed read, the diagrams are usually poor and the content can't be indexed, it's not possible to control the speed of the information flow . When I read an app not I can skip the stuff I know and concentrate on the new or difficult things. I just don't have time to spend an hour watching your videos but I would certainly have skimmed them in print.
