Spartan 6 Connectivity issue

The spartan 6 board is not getting detected in ISE. The connection is via JTAG. The board is getting powered on but it is not getting recognized when boundary scan is carried out in select target device phase. Kindly help in resolving this issue

ISE is not compatible with it.

I installed Window 7(64-bit) for ISE14.7. Windows 10 does not work with ISE any more. You might try to use Linux/Ubuntu for ISE14.7.

I used this Spartan6 EVB a few years ago. I used ISE 14.7 with Xilinx JTAG debugger without any issues.

What is your Windows version (and is it 32/64)?
Are you using ISE in the VM that Xilinx distributes for it? Or installed on a windows proper?

It is installed in Windows 10 (64 bit) properly

The official solution is the download and run the virtual machine that Xilinx made and is known to work..
