Welcome to my second blog where I get to share with you, all of the goodies that UPS finally delivered to my door!

At long last the kit parts have arrived!  Due to Holiday craziness the one item that was expected to be late actually came earlier then the rest of the kit!

Here we have the Raspberry Pi Camera V2.  These had been separated from the other Kit items.  Element 14 was kind enough to express ship this item to all of us to ensure we can proceed with minimal delay.  Thank you Element 14!  It is hard to work the various Holidays into shipping schedules, especially when sometimes it seems there is no impact and other times everything grinds to a halt.

Opening "the box" reveals a nice little Element 14 bag full of goodies!

The first item out of the bag is a Universal Power Supply.  This is nice since it provides a known good power source for this project without me needing to perhaps cannibalize another project.  I may end up needing a custom solution later but this item is perfect for setting up the test bench and beginning the time of fun.

The next item is a very important item indeed.  The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B!  I can't wait to get this powered up with my Universal Power Supply.

The 4DPI-24-Hat, a 2.4" HAT that acts as a Primary Display for the Raspberry Pi.

The PiFace Digital 2, a nice little addon board for the Raspberry Pi with relays, switches, input, output and even 8 LED indicators.

The Explore-NFC-WW board, an interesting addon to allow Near Field Communication interaction.

The Raspberry Pi SenseHat. an addon that provides a variety of additional data input that was comprehensive enough to warrant it's own Space Project!

32GB MicroSD card preloaded with NOOBS for Raspberry Pi.  This should be more than ample for my project.

Here are all of the Kit items laid out on the Element 14 bag.  Very promising!

Finally, while not provided by Element 14, I thought this project warranted a slightly larger screen option so I am using the Element 14 7" Touchscreen Display for the Raspberry Pi.  I may look for an even larger option in the future such as 10" but I have worked with the 7" in the past and believe it is a solid item to incorporate into this project.
