Garbage Collector #10 Summary
It has been 2 weeks since my last blog post. I have faced some difficulties trying to figuring out the correct way to interact with all of the peripheral shields that shipped along with the XMC4700 Relax Lite Kit.
I have tried to seek help here and there in the past 2 weeks and I'm really amazed by the technical supports from Infineon. They are really helpful and provide lots of guidance for me to continue doing my projects using Infineon products.
This post is mainly a post that gives credit to those who helped me and a suggestion for others on where can they seek help whenever they face some difficulties dealing with Infineon's Kit.
I will include very little till none technical information in this blog post.
First of all, I must say that Infineon really have very complete documentation on their products. If you are new and unsure how to use any of their products, just simply go tp Infineon's website https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/ and search for the user manual of the product. You can find the user manual under the Documents > User Manual section.
This is the example of where the user manual is located:
If you happen to be still unable to solve your problem after reading the user manual, you can go to the Support section and choose the Write to the Technical Assistance Center option to write an email to the Infineon's Technical Supports.
Alternatively, Element 14 Community is also a great place for you to seek help. https://www.element14.com/community/welcome
There are lots of amazing and generous people here willing to offer help to others.
There are chances that you can find that there are people who did some other projects using a similar kit in Elemen 14 Community and you can simply refer it for your own project.
In my case, the TLE94112 Interactive Testing Platform by balearicdynamics which used DC Motor Shield with TLE94112LE really serves a good reference for me. Mr balearicdynamics is really kind and helpful and guided me a lot. Once again thank you, Mr Enrico.
There are also Infineon's Technical Supports available for Sustain The World - Design Challenge . You can go to thisInfineon - Technical Support Thread that has been created for people to ask questions.
rati89 and jd_tech_support_ifx are both friendly and helpful Infineon's Technical Supports that willing to offer their help.
I personally have asked them lots of questions and our conversation even goes up to over 50 comments.
Thank you Mr. Brew rati89 and Mr. Dominik jd_tech_support_ifx for being so patient and taught me so much. I will use up a lot more time figuring all those stuff myself if you guys weren't there to help me.
In my next blog post, I will conclude my findings from seeking help all over the places, till then, see ya.
