"I almost think it is easier to put together a project for submission to these contests than to judge them :-)." - Community Member Judge
The community celebrated the second birthday of Project14 with a month long celebration of robots. We talked history of robots, submitted robot projects, and made more than a few references to R2D2. As stated above this was a rich class of robotics projects. In less than 24 hours we'll have a live steam where we'll highlight some of the great robotics projects which have happened in this program, in the two years that its been around. Milestones are a time for nostalgia. Next month, the community turns 10, and there must be something really special about a community that's attracted so many amazing people. The thing that makes this community special is the people that are a part of it. Thank you for supporting the element14 community, this program is just a small part of everything that makes this community special.
If you can, I encourage you to sign up for the live stream here:
Even if you are not able to see it live, we're all on different crazy schedules, even if you can't attend live, you can always attend on demand. You'll be making a statement that this is more of the kind of thing you want to see on the community. You'll also be supporting your fellow community members, in this initiative, the first live stream of the community where community members present. This program has always been driven by the incredible engagement of our community members. You're all incredibly smart, and you help bring life to projects that are a joy to witness.
Without further adieu here are your winners....

There's always stuff going on in the community and the best ideas always come from you. Suggest your idea in the Monthly Poll! and vote on the themes you want to do projects on. Build projects that use NFC or RFID for applications such as access control, asset tracking and contactless payments in the NFC/RFID competition. Or, build projects that use a configurable programmable logic device such as FPGA or CPLD in our projects that use a configurable programmable logic device such as FPGA or CPLD in the Programmable Logic competition. We're giving away a limited number of Arduino MKR VIDOR 4000 boards for project proposals that use them.
