yes they are essentially you have the same 26+14 more on the end....Dont have them in your board don't worry about them just plug in the ones you have

The only PITA here is if you have a board that is so close to the RPI that they needed to make cut outs for the connectors which now have moved on the A+/B+meaning the cut outs are in the wrong place ... The GPIO connector however is fine just use the first 26!
