It is time to announce our EZ-EV winners! Red carTrophy

Let’s do a quick recap of the challenge requirements and remind ourselves of the prizes, then get straight into the winners.

The Challenge

For a chance at winning one of the prizes, participants in the challenge had to create a prototype smart electric vehicle or smart system for a next-generation of vehicles, showcasing the features of the kit's components in the most imaginative way possible.

Judging criteria included originality, innovation, technical merit, and sharing the build process with at least five forum posts and a final project write-up.

well done to everyone - it was good fun and I am amazed to even be here having hooked up probably 6 wires in all - UNO Q and 2 servos FTW - but great to start somewhere!

in the spirit of minimalist builds, I found some parts from an abandoned broken model airplane in the park

    image
and lo and behold found an ESP8266/ESP32 and Mobile phone controller build on E14

    • seems a lot of the images are missing
    • but this seems the detailed build instructions https://www.instructables.com/Make-and-Fly-Cheap-Smart-Phone-Controlled-Plane

and who knows, maybe in future there will be a Design Challenge with flight or drones
