Possibilities of evolution

image

This contest will have given a big impetus to this crazy project. The evolutions on this device are almost limitless. Several people offered me ideas.

Here are some examples :

-  improve the communication with the outside by adding the voice command: I am thinking about doing this by using the services of google because it works badly with IBM

-  have a badge system using NFC technology: everyone has their badge with a quantity of drinks on it.

-  have a system of distribution of ice cubes.

-  To be able to order iTender remotely via a website for example I am working from home and when I arrive a cool cocktail is waiting for me ... Or simply start the cooling so that the liquid is cool when I arrive ;-) .

-  Have a shaker mode

My own itender will be for use on a big scale as it will be used for the local concert orchestra when it goes on tour this summer. Even thought this competition is coming to an end I am going to keep working on improving the bar.

I want to thank Element 14 for having organised this competion which has been really interesting and has allowed for the development of a numer of original ideas> I wish also to thank my friends for their advice and encouragement throughout this competition. In particular, Fabien Guyot for his help in in building the cabinet and Greg Baird for his support in writing the blogs in English.
