Cars can last a long time, they certainly outlast the fast pace of tech advances. So I thought I'd see if I could add some modern conveniences to a slightly older car using a Raspberry Pi and Android Auto.

    Was wondering how you mounted this to the dash without destructively screwing in the mount, have you got any pictures of this? I was also wondering if you knew where would be best to look for some place that sell the screen without the Pi to make it a bit cheaper? I already have a couple Pi 3s lying around the house.

    Apologies for the delay, I took the time today to take it out to properly draw a scematic too. Long story short, there are screws fitted to captive nuts that grab onto the "shade" part of the dash and clamp down. To make sure they don't bite into the dash too much, I used a few spacers:
