I just bought a new Rig
michaelkellett Ok, thank you. Do you know which the Back button in the front panel that Rigol service mean
It's not clear in the 924s manual but I think they might mean this key:
MK
This one
Do you know how to ubdate scope firmware, I download the file from Rigol site "" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank" data-e14adj="t">supportint.rigol.com/.../software-firmware-download.html"
It looks to me as if the scope must be working to update the firmware - you put the new code on a USB stick, plug into the scope and open the file. Which means you need to have it working well enough to work the disk management functions.
There is a .pdf file (which may have cold boot instructions) at the link you gave me but it won't let me look at it (no password) but you might be able to look.
There are some more ideas here:

To add to the power supply discussion. I have the same scope, and it comes with exactly the same power supply that you have, and it works without issue, so I don't think it's power (unless the power supply is defective). You can always try with another USB-C supply with similar current-providing capabilities for the required voltage range, though.
Maybe it's an image corruption issue. I would suggest you to contact the seller for recommendations and support.
If they fail to provide you with a procedure, you could try getting a newer firmware file in a USB flash drive, insert it in the unit, and power it on. As far as I remember it should prompt you to update at boot, and maybe that will fix it.
But don't take any action on the instrument before reporting to the seller. Otherwise they can claim that it was your tinkering that broke it.
Nope. He has a 15V 3A PD supply (so could supply different voltages) but the manual he is reading says he needs 12V 4A.
.
Yes, sorry, you are right, it does both. The scope manual he is referring to says it needs 4A at 12V; a newer version of the manual says the scope needs 3A at 15V. Either way, 12V/3A is not the right supply power.
