Congratulations to javagoza for Op-Amp Line Follower - Blog 3 The Line Follower!   You are the grand prize winner!

Congratulations to sunnyiut for Breathing AMP,  milosrasic98 for Op-Amp Based Adjustable Load , and genebren for Adding additional capabilities to my KORG volca modular synthesizer and learning about Op-Amps at the same time. Part 4 - Making Connection and Playing a Song.!   You are the first place winners!

imageThe Op-Amp-a-Palooza contest was an open ended exploration of op-amps using low cost components and features premium op-amp testing equipment as prizes. There's so much that can be done with OpAmps: Amplifiers and buffers, measurement, active filters, voltage references, current measurement, audio vs RF vs HT, precision circuits low noise circuits making one from discrete components.

Special thanks to Renesas, Maxim, and microchip for donating kit samples.   Thanks to baldengineer for coming up with cool prizes that an engineer would want to win as part an Op-Amp contest, as well as, Multicomp for providing those special prizes.  Finally,  thank you to dougw,  jancumps, amgalbu,  robogary, and dab for sorting through a ton of great projects and doing the hard job of picking winners!

In addition to the usual shopping cart,  here is what they also won:

Hey First Place Winners, I made a LabVIEW driver for the function generator you won. The driver is open source. LabVIEW Community Edition is free.

Yeah, definitely some cool prizes. I hadn't even read the specs. I felt so lucky with the kit of components that element14 sent us and to be able to participate in this challenge that I hadn't paid attention to the prizes. I'm impressed. I look forward to sharing everything I learn with those tools. When I studied Electrical Industrial Engineering in the 1980s, we had a change in the location of the campus and many workshops in the electronics laboratory were canceled due to lack of infrastructure. I always have the feeling of a pending subject.

I submitted my project at the end of the timeline. "breathing AMP" was a part of the project meant for respiration rate monitor. The front end was designed using opamps and that's why I shared it in the Op-Amp-a-Palooza contest. Thanks a lot to tariq.ahmad for his enthusiastic reply when I approached him that I have a project based on opamps (other than the sponsored ones) to share.
It's great to be one of the first place winners.... WOW

So many amazing projects, and quality blogs. I learnt a lot - and that's the beauty of this community. Project14 is a great initiative, it's continuously adding values with enriched contents.

Congratulations to javagoza, I just loved your blogs. Congratulations to milosrasic98 and genebren - well deserved first place winners.

Thanks to all the participants for sharing their projects which enriched the community. And obviously hats off to judges - it definitely wasn't easy to go through all these quality contents to pick the winners.
