On October 30th, 2019 at 5 PM CT // 10 PM GMT: Join are friends at MATRIX Labs for:

  • Use NFC to Preserve Privacy w/ Cloud-based Voice AI on Your IoT Device

During this live product demo,  hermitter will walk you through terminal and give you a developer's perspective on the code he's worked on that allows you to use NFC for cloud-based AI on your IoT Device.  During this primer we'll go over some of the things you need to get started to start doing this yourself.  NFC is a branch of High-Frequency (HF) RFID, both operate at the 13.56 MHz frequency. NFC protocol is used for secure form of data exchange, with an NFC device is capable of being both an NFC reader and an NFC tag. NXP is a co-inventor of NFC along with Sony and supplies the chip that enables your smart phone to make contactless payments, store, and exchange goods securely.  During this webinar we'll learn how you can use NFC to preserve privacy

This board is designed to make NFC accessible for anyone who owns a Raspberry Pi.

They've written two excellent blogs on the community to help you do this:

  • Read/Write to NFC Tags with Your MATRIX Creator

  • What Can You Do w/ NFC?

  • Documentation

  • MATRIX Labs Community

  • MATRIX Development Checklist Poll

    Hi clem57 ,

Looking at their release notes on github it looks like there is support for Raspberry Pi 4:
