I am predisposed to like the products I review because the reason I apply for a road test is that I already like and want the product. So I liked the Multicomp Pro MP750511 Arbitrary Waveform Generator.

As far as procuring road test things, I was sent an Arduino UNO R4 Minima (not as a road test) and liked it enough to order more. It is a fast 5V Arduino with lots of memory and an accurate A/D.

I tend to work with HMI displays a lot. So I would have loved to test the display module that comes along with STM32U5xx discovery kit.

Nordic Thingy:53 missing in the list? That was my favorite.

That might have appeared in last year's list. I think the list can get a bit skewed. Maybe they're collated by the date they're announced. For instance, the nPM1300 kit has only just arrived with testers and 3 others that are still open for applications are also included. Both are in this list but obviously can't be anyone's favourite yet..

I have chosen the Avnet ZUBoard 1CG Development Kit  roadtest, not because of the reviews but because of the kit itself. The reviews disappointed me somewhat with some exceptions, I would have liked to read roadtests with more substance. It is also a shame that out of 9 roadtesters 2 failed to submit their review.

I would have liked to debut as a road tester with the Avnet ZUBoard 1CG Development Kit but it coincided with the Path to Programmable III design challenge and I had to choose.

Damn, that kit has both Cortex A and Cortex R cores. I have only worked with Cortex M based kit only. Definitely should have applied for it.

I was selected to road test Rasynboard which honestly is a good board for offloading computation intensive ML operations to. Originally, I intended to compete in the Holiday Competition using Rasynboard kit, but I had to complete it using ESP32.

I have also received STM32Wlxx Nucleo boards as well, as a part of Project14 last year. While I have written some blogs on how to use the boards ( 1 , 2 ) , I could not complete my final project as I intended it to be. It really is a nice board except the amount required parameters that needs to be enabled for configuring the LORA communication is a pain.

I voted for the piece of gear I liked best not the road test review I liked best (which was for a piece of gear I thought overpriced and underperforming !).

So the thing I liked was the Aim TTi SMU - which carried on the Aim TTi principle of making decent instruments for half the price of the big name competition.

Yep, I did that too. I purchased the ADALM2000 after being impressed by what I read in the roadtest reviews.
