    My mum is in assisted living and uses a walker to get around. 

    To entertain the  assisted living residents and my mum for the holidays, I'm going to decorate her walker to look like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. 

    I'm aiming to use an Arduino Nano to read a capacitive touch switch and an accelerometer to decide the walker is in use.

    While in use, a servo will move to ring the sleigh bells.  The eyes will have long eyelashes, and eyelids will blink.   

    Some  xmas LED lights will be enabled by the Arduino. Series MOSFET s  will  disable power the lights and servo's  power to conserve battery power while idling.  

    The animation can only be active while the walker is in motion, otherwise it will really annoy people, they wont remember to turn it off and on, and use up the batteries quickly.
