What an extraordinary collection of projects. Each project stands out in one or more categories: analog, embedded software, AI, 3-D printing, pcb design, prototyping, humor, etc. I don't know how to pick…

Wow - great group of projects, and that Bender print is just so spectacular. It is nice to look back and remember what was accomplished.

I feel very fortunate to have projects on the short list even though my biggest project of the year didn't make the cut. (The Kemet vibration sensor challenge)

Of course that omission is normal - when a project spans the year end it can't be considered in the year it started because it isn't complete and usually gets eliminated from exposure in the year it ends because not all the work was done in that year.

Doing a project at this time of year is useful for me because I get a little extra time to work at home, but there is this drawback, that I've experienced a few times now, where the December-January projects disappear off the radar more than other projects, partly because at the year end review, they happened 12 months ago.

However it won't stop me doing projects in December and I'm in another design challenge this year that will span the year end. Not that this new project is anywhere near as big as last year's project, but you never know, these things tend to morph.
