Episode 598: How To Build a Portable, Solar-Charged Off-Grid Power Station

With advancements in technology, we can do so much more than we could just a few short years ago. We could go into the bush and live off the grid with running power and build a sustainable life. I recently moved to a place where power was not always accessible to me. As well as with multiple power outages a month make it hard to get things done when you have no power. Until now in preparation for my move, I wanted to have power at my fingertips regardless of what mother nature tossed at us. This was tested and proved to be one of the most beneficial projects I have created to date. The off-grid solar power charge station was born. Recharging flashlights and powering small devices to keep going without skipping a beat. Boasting a total of 66Ah battery bank with 100w solar panel and multiple charging options the cost to make this unit was well under anything commercially made and was built to suit my needs going forward and the ability to change and upgrade is all based on what I want to invest into it.
